Seeing a need for a non-profit to help children and teens in foster care, we created our first closet in 2014. We were located in Mt. Pleasant but at the time no counties around us had closets. In the beginning we were part of a statewide organization. We have consistently grown and in 2018 we received our 501c3 status. We have two bran
Seeing a need for a non-profit to help children and teens in foster care, we created our first closet in 2014. We were located in Mt. Pleasant but at the time no counties around us had closets. In the beginning we were part of a statewide organization. We have consistently grown and in 2018 we received our 501c3 status. We have two branches now. This is all thanks to the helping hands of our amazing community!

Our History
Our team is made up of former foster parents, foster youth, and caring individuals from our community. They enjoy working with foster and kinship families. We are always looking for ways to enhance our services and better meet the needs of the families we serve.

- When a child/teen comes into foster care, we aim to provide them with new clothes and items they may need within the first days. They may also contact The Giving Barn- Clare County and the local baby pantry for more resources.
- Summer week at the fair (where foster families can get wrist bands and snacks for the fair).
- Back to school

- A fun holiday party with gift sponsorship in coordination with DHHS and The Giving Barn- Clare County
